Our Pastor

Rev. Linda G.S. Ellerbe

  • Rev. Linda G. Samuels –Ellerbe is originally from Morristown, NJ, and is a product of the public schools there. She is a graduate of the Health Careers Institute of New Jersey and studied at New Brunswick Theological Seminary
  • She has worked as a Serology Lab Technician, a Commercial Casualty Lines Insurance Senior Underwriter, and the Executive Director Project FAITH [Families Acquiring Information Together on HIV/AIDS] of the NJ Human Development Corporation.
  • Rev. Ellerbe served as the 1st female to sit on the Board of Directors of the Black Minister’s Council, State of New Jersey, which was responsible for the Consent Decree and legislation addressing Racial Profiling in the State of New Jersey.
  • Pastor Ellerbe founded and organized two congregations in the AME denomination. She is a former Assistant and Chief Secretary of the New Jersey Annual Conference of the AME Church.
  • Pastor Ellerbe was the first female to preach at the Haitian Baptist Convocation, Coton, Haiti, in August, 1999.
  • Pastor Ellerbe’s love for Young Adults and the arts have created space for innovative, relevant ministries.
  • Pastor Ellerbe currently serves the historic Mt. Zion AME Church in Atglen, PA. She is the proud mom of two of heaven’s best gifts, Danielle and Jayden.
